dc.description.abstract | The paper focuses on the motivation of bank employees, specifically bank specialists who are university graduates but do not work in managerial posts. The number of university-educated employees not working in managerial posts has been growing rapidly in recent years in all fields. This is the case not only in the Czech Republic, where this research was carried out, but in most of the industrialised countries. The paper identifies the most important motivation factors for this group of bank specialists, and establishes how significant the different motivation factors are for them. It goes on to analyse the bank specialists' satisfaction levels with the current effect of the different factors. The results of the research could help bank managers to motivate their staff better and thus help to improve the performance of the company as a whole. | en |
