Impact of EFQM model in the process of business valuation

Abstract

This paper explores a different approach to business valuation based on the widely acclaimed EFQM model. The paper investigates the link between the EFQM model and business valuation. Analysis of EFQM implementations and description of the state of art is performed in different areas (sectors) of economy. The main aim of this paper is to integrate our knowledge on the development of EFQM application in the performance management, especially in field of business valuation, over the past years and on recognizing possibilities over the merge of its benefits with challenges and current needs of objective tools in the field of business valuation.
