Abstrakt: | This work is focused on characterization of a potential polymeric biomaterial based on poly L-lactic acid and poly(methyl methacrylate) blends. Mechanical, rheological and, thermal properties of the blends prepared in wide poly L-lactic acid concentration range were observed in order to determine morphological arrangement of the blend. In addition, hydrolytical degradation study in presence of sodium hydroxide was conducted. The results reveal a miscibility of both polymer matrices and significant non-linear influence of the blend composition. |
