Abstrakt: | This paper shows simulation results of the adaptive control with different types of External Linear Models (ELM) used in adaptive control as a representation of the nonlinear system. The controlled nonlinear system was Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor (CSTR) with exothermic reaction and cooling in the jacket. The mathematical model of this plant is described by the set of ordinary differential equations (ODE) which means that the system is considered as a lumped-parameters system. Adaptive approach with the recursive identification of the ELM's parameters used here produces good control results even when the system has negative control properties. The polynomial synthesis and the pole-placement method applied for the controller design satisfies basic control requirements such as stability, reference tracking and disturbance attenuation which was also proofed. |
