dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to provide theoretical and methodological insights into the level of directivity of the parenting style. The paper is focused on families with children who attend either Montessori or traditional classes at primary school and compares any potential differences in the level of directivity of the parenting style. The questionnaire, created by the authors, was used to divide directivity of the parenting styles into three broad areas: (1) autocratic, (2) laissez-faire, and (3) democratic. The differences by gender, age, education and the amount of time parents spend with children were also studied. © The Turkish Online Journal of Educational Technology. | en |
