dc.description.abstract | Programming period of the European Union for the years 2007 - 2013 enabled the Czech Republic to utilize up to EUR 26.7 billion within the frame of EU economic and social cohesion policy. Similarly, the Slovak Republic was able to support its development in this period by using up to EUR 11.7 billion. During the implementation of this coordinated EU policy public administration institutions in the Czech and Slovak gained substantial experience. The aim of this article is to present the approaches of the Czech and Slovak public administration to the concept of implementation of EU cohesion policy for the programming period 2014 - 2020. This is once more a great opportunity for the Czech and Slovak governments as in this period. The above mentioned countries may gain up to EUR 23.9 billion and EUR 15.5 billion respectively in order to enhance their own development. | en |
