dc.description.abstract | This paper discusses the possibilities of evacuation routes search for the purposes of civil protection. The models of evacuation routes created in GIS are used for their search in real terrain. Second part of the paper elaborates the individual entities of route characteristics for optimization of the optimal route choice. The link between modeling and evacuation routes rating methods is further described. This connection is clarified on a case study of GIS application for the purposes of evacuation routes optimization. In conclusion the paper evaluates the results and the possibilities of their practical applications. | en |
