Abstrakt: | This article focuses on the description and comparison of the success rate of methods for prediction of convective precipitation occurring in the daily or nightly hours on the territory of the Zlin Region for the years 2015 to 2017. The first part analyzes a methodology of a new prediction tool - Algorithm of Storm Prediction which has been developed by the author of this article. This tool provides forecast information on convective precipitation and dangerous convective phenomena with sufficient time in advance for the municipality with extended powers and regions in the Czech Republic. Other tools are given numerical weather prediction models, nowcasting methods of C Z R A D networks and mobile meteorological radar MMR50 of the Zlin Region. © 2019 IEEE. |
