dc.description.abstract This article is focused on an analysis of a round punch with the help of a motion animation and an EMG. The goal of our research is the analysis of striking techniques in a professional defence. We wrote about a direct punch in previous articles. In this article, we present our results from the experiment with the round punch. We tried to visualize a movement of the body during the making of the round punch. Such visualization is very useful during the training of a round punch as we can spot mistakes more easily. We used the VICON system in University Hospital in Brno, Czech Republic. In the other part of our research, EMG sensors was using for measurement a local muscle load. We hypothesize that the better-trained person uses more muscles and makes the technique more effective. This article follows the previous article about the analysis of the round punch considering power. © 2018 IEEE. en
