Abstrakt: | This paper deals with the strategic management of Centre for Polymer Systems (CPS), which is the research part of Tomas Bata University in Zlin (TBU). If a research unit wants to be competitive in an international environment, it is not enough to have just the latest technical background and the necessary funding, it must also have the staff of high performance. This is what the ESIF project "Development of research and development capacities at TBU in Zlin" is aiming for. The output of the project is to receive the HR Award, which is awarded by the European Commission to those research organizations that meet the rules of standard behaviour within the European Research Area. The European Research Area standard is defined in the 40 principles laid down in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The implementation of these principles presupposes a gap analysis of the current state of application of these principles in CPS and the preparation of an action plan of measures in order to achieve the standards set out in the Charter and the Code. The aim of the implementation of these measures in CPS TBU is to change the concept of human resource management and corporate culture of the research organization. |
