Abstrakt: | The quality of mill finishing of shaped surfaces is influenced by a number of input parameters. Current automated manufacturing systems allow adaptation of the machining process aiming at the final surface quality. Despite all the advantages, these systems require a behavioural model, a prediction of the output, based on the input parameters. Some of these models are summarized in this paper, including contemporary evaluated models as well as their functional dependencies; moreover, offers an application of mill finishing with a ball-end cutter incorporating tool axis or surface inclination. | ||||||||||
