dc.description.abstract The presented study discusses the importance of managing creative innovation processes, their understanding, effectiveness and subsequent transfer to real life. The development of concrete creative innovation processes has been observed by high-school students who actively participate in the realization of creative innovations. The aim of the study is to find and identify critical factors within the entire creative process, i.e. from assignment - brief, through individual creative artistic process to individual outputs. Goal setting is based on the assumption that the structure, quality and content of the brief is a prerequisite for a successful solution. Comparing inputs and outputs of these projects and finding answers to identified research questions, which areas of project solution are problematic (e.g. whether wording or student approach or other aspect) is also an integral part of this study. A qualitative questionnaire survey with narrative elements was used to examine the progress of sub-creative projects, the evaluation of which is done through thematic and content analysis. Conclusions resulting from qualitative research are confronted with general project management rules, and findings will be the basis for identifying critical locations in designing creative projects. The ambition of the author is to confront the conclusions with system archetypes in relation to project management. © The Turkish Online Journal of Educational Technology. en
