dc.description.abstract	Europe is currently facing an immigration crisis, which brings challenges as well as potential problems and risks associated with it. Some people in our society are afraid of the presence of these people, experts in this field also draw attention to this. The article is focused on the process of migration to Europe in the 20th and 21st centuries and changes in its perception. One of the chapters of this article analyzes troubled regions and the reasons why people leave them. It also points to the European regions most affected by immigrants. Another chapter from part of the article assesses the potential risk with the arrival of refugees and immigrants to Europe. Ways to prevent and address them at the national and international level are presented here. In conclusion, the chapter is focused on the effects that are the originators of potential threats and their comprehensive solutions.	en
