dc.description.abstract | Since cyclic loading causes heat accumulation in the rubber parts due to a combination of mechanical energy dissipation and low thermal conductivity, it is necessary to be able to predict the temperature evolution in the rubber to avoid reducing its service life. In this paper, the analytical approach for calculating the steady-state temperature distribution throughout the cross section of the cylinder are derived. The results are verified by numerical simulation using the finite element method and their agreement is discussed. | en |
