Abstract: | Dynamic viscoelasticity of melts of semiaromatic liquid crystalline polymer (LCP) and its silicone carbide (SiC) whisker-filled compound were measured to analyze quantitatively their nonlinear viscoelastic properties by Fourier expansion of the shear stress wave. For LCP the viscoelasticity has been found nearly linear, for the filled systems it shows nonlinearity, which increases with the oscillatory angle. | ||||||||||
