Abstract: | Fractal compression based on Iterated Function Systems (IFS) has a great potential to be useful in other areas of signal processing than just in the data compression field. This potential is done due to features of fractal parameters. The lossy feature of this method causes elimination of some redundant elements and thus it can be applied for reconstruction of noised signals purposes. Independence on resolution allows enlarging images and viewing them in many scales. Also fractal parameters sensitivity for image reconstruction can be very helpful for security purposes. This work deals with these features and practical demonstration of their usage. | ||||||||||
