Abstract: | The latest research results from geoarcheological investigations from the Peace River area provide new evidence for the pre-last glacial peopling of the American continent. A set of palaeolithic stone tools from a stratified section of glacial deposits shows that early people occupied western Alberta more than 20 000 years ago. | ||||||||||
