Abstract: | Parameter estimation of nonlinear biological systems is one of the most challenging topics in systems biology. This problem is usually presented as an optimization task, where cost function has to be minimized. In present study, we consider a well-studied biochemical system, called a three-step pathway. We have applied two evolutionary techniques: DE and SOMA. Both algorithms are well-known effective techniques in solving optimization problems with large solution space. | ||||||||||
