Abstrakt: | This paper deals with social reflection of the community education in the Czech Republic. In this regard, it explores the meaning of community education from the point of view of its implementers. For this purpose, it uses the method of semantic differential which helps us to identify the main functions of the community education. The paper presents the methodology and findings of an empirical survey on the level of descriptive (D-matrix analysis) and inductive (chi-square test) statistics. The results show that community education has a predominantly integrative function for its implementers. On the basis of our results, we suppose that the concept of community education is best framed by a consensual approach to social and educational reality. |
