Abstract: | This chapter presents the research results of the probe that was used to determine what is or would be preferred form of reward and punishment for eleven-years-old gifted children. Questionnaire for classroom teachers was first research instrument. It was used for identification of 71 gifted children. Selected gifted children responded in the second questionnaire to following open-ended questions: What is or would be the greatest reward for you? What is or would be the greatest punishment for you? Research data were processed separately for each question using primary analysis of frequency of selected categorical responses. General and sub-categorical types of rewards and punishments according to their frequency are the outputs. Conclusion of the chapter contains a summary and discussion of research results. |
