Global Discussion on Social Work and Our Contribution Thereto Trough Application in Romani Communities

Abstract

The global discussion about social work has been evolving since 2010. The climax came on 15.3.2012 with the International Social Work Day at the United Nations in New York, where the representatives participating in the discussions presented their outputs. Jaroslav Balvín and Lenka Vavreková contributed their text to the discussion thematically focused on fieldwork and community work in areas inhabited by Romani communities in Slovakia.
