Abstract: | A great deal of attention is being paid to the protection of the population in the Czech Republic both on the part of the executive bodies of emergency management and the government of the Czech Republic as the administrators of these matters. The implementation of all activities is administrated by means of a series of conceptual documents issued by the government that include tasks for individual state administrative bodies in order to secure all necessary activities. One of the fundamental tasks in this field is to solve problems related to supplying the population with drinking water during extraordinary or emergency situations.
