Abstract: | This paper shows control results of simulations on mathematical model and real measurements on the real model of the water tank. The level in the tank is controlled via input volumetric flow rate through the proportional solenoid valve. The adaptive approach with the recursive identification was employed here for controlling of this system. The controller could be tuned by the choice of the pole position in the pole-placement method. The benefit of this paper could be found also with the verification of the obtained simulation results on the real model of the water tank which shows usability of this control approach although the system has nonlinear properties. Control measurements also show hysteresis of the proportional solenoid valve which was used as an actuator in the control. |
