dc.description.abstract | The aim of this paper is to provide theoretical and methodological insights into the process of self-regulated learning, and to explain each part of the research. In general, the attached paper focuses on the motivational aspects of self-regulated learning, specially for students in the helping professions. Knowing what specifically leads to the formation and development of self-regulated learning, and how this information can be used to support this process in school education, is not only interesting but also beneficial to both theory and practice. This understanding may lead to an improvement in students' study habits, and greater profesional compentence in teachers. This means, in effect, the acquisition of skills that go beyond the normal boundaries of the profession. The research into the proces of self-regulated learning is a response to the current need to equip future graduates with other skills beyond their field of study, including how independent learning is regulated, and how to educate others in this process. | en |
