Demografie popelnicových polí na Slovensku. Pohled antropologie a archeologie

Abstract

Based on anthropological analyses of the contents of cremation graves from the Urnfield period in Slovakia, the demographic structure of the population was established. The mean life expectancy and age structure were calculated. These data were compared between two Urnfield cultural complexes: the Lusatian culture and the Southeast Urnfield cultural complex. The values are clearly presented in the tables and diagrams. The authors have attempted to identify the links between the age and gender of the buried individuals on the one hand, and the grave inventory of bronze industry on the other.
