Enhancing learning of multimedia subjects at secondary schools and Faculty of Humanities, Tomas Bata University on Zlin, Czech Republic

Abstract

The paper focuses on the creation and evaluation of a multimedia teaching aid in the form of the video guide that helps students of the Faculty of humanities, Tomas Bata University in Zlin. The aid was also used by students of the secondary school as the extension of the subject called Multimedia, where the multimedia software is taught. Didactic aid also helps students of the distance curriculum at the Faculty of Applied Informatics, Tomas Bata University in Zlin. We created the video tutorial focused on the selected programs from the Adobe package and the Windows Movie Maker video editing program. This paper aimed to create an electronic multimedia tool that helps students quickly and easily overcome the pitfalls of programs and familiarize with programs in the primary user scale for the creation of their digital materials. The multimedia utility is created as supporting electronic material that is suitable not only as a supplement to printed literature.
