Abstract: | The chemical batch reactor control is usually difficult by common methods. This is caused by the system nonlinearity and complexity. One of important factors in the control field is the varying in-reactor reaction speed. In this paper, the influence of the reaction speed on the process control and its safety is discussed. A first order exothermic chemical reaction is considered to be running in the reactor. A process model accounting this type of reaction was set up and used to trace the in-reactor temperature development. Obtained results are discussed. |
