Abstract: | 3D reconstruction represents sophisticated approach to crime scene documentation and farther forensic analysis; however, quality of results is strictly depended on source data. This article identifies feasibility limits and defines critical requirements for crime scene 3D reconstruction. An evaluation triangle is proposed to realize method applicability assessment. Moreover, individual factors influencing the feasibility were described in detail and their mutual relationship has been formulated. A crime scene testimony in virtual reality workflow was provided to visualize individual process relation. © 2022 IEEE. |
