Abstract: | The schools and the educational facilities are very important in the preventive systems at region and local level, because majority of young people who study there come to be a direct entity of the preventive activities. Various experts, who deal with the family question, say about the family crisis and the school crisis in connection with present family. In the sphere of the family education, we can find the reserves in the educational function of family which is deficiently developed and in which the family fails times out of number. Hold generally, when the family is failing, the school is the number one place for primary prevention of drug dependences. It means a remedy is delegated to school department. The rate of responsibility of the teacher coordinator for prevention of drug dependences to the healthy lifestyle and support to health depends on his own attitude to drugs (legal and illegal) and health, his expert knowledge are very important too and he can be able to use them at the praxis. On the strength of these facts, we define following targets of research: - to map a situation of performance of activities within the framework of primary prevention at the primary schools (realized activities, co-operation of colleagues, participation of parents, co-operation with principalship) - to find out an attitude of teachers coordinators for prevention of drug dependences to using drugs (legal and illegal) and to health. The focuses on the issue of drug prevention for children and youth in the school environment. The author deals with the work of teachers/school methodologists for prevention (Czech Republic) as part of preventive processes focused on drug addiction in schools. He describes the ideal view of the personality of school methodologist for prevention, points out risks in his/her work and the ethical side of this position. Finally, the author evaluates specific activities in the work. An important part of the dissertation involves finding out what image the school methodologists for prevention have of themselves and their own evaluation of the function they fulfil. |
